The British company Luminance, which deals with artificial intelligence, has created a system for automatic analysis and modification of documents based on a large language model (LLM). In practice, the tool affects the ability of AI to independently negotiate contracts with another artificial intelligence, excluding human participation.
Luminance claims that this is the first attempt in history to negotiate a contract based on artificial intelligence. It also confirms that the model was prepared based on 150 million legal documents to provide AI with as much legal information as possible.

Legal document analysis is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process. In the traditional model, employees have to do it themselves. However, thanks to the Autopilot tool from Luminance, the entire process can be fully automated. According to the company's information, the program can quickly assimilate, understand and analyze large amounts of information, as well as detect potential threats.
– By handing over daily negotiations to AI, which is legally trained and understands the mechanisms of companies, we free up lawyers to focus on creativity where it is most needed – argued Jaeger Glucina, CEO of Luminance.
He also emphasized that lawyers can continuously monitor the entire analysis process and make necessary changes.
