The United Arab Emirates are joining the race for dominance in the AI industry. At the end of November 2023, a new project called AI71 was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi. The company has a generative AI based on a model called Falcon and is officially among the most innovative research laboratories in the world. The event was led by the Sheikh of Abu Dhabi Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the presence of ministers and representatives of technology companies.
AI71 aspires to compete with the largest artificial intelligence laboratories, including OpenAI. The company is expected to accelerate progress in the field of artificial intelligence, opening up new perspectives in the field of technology.

AI71 is the result of research and development initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence conducted by the Technology Innovation Institute. This project focuses on the area of marketing and support for the Falcon model, introduced by TII at the beginning of this year.
The Falcon model is the foundation for AI71's plans and although it intends to focus on developing multi-domain artificial intelligence in the future, it will initially direct its steps towards individual sectors: medical, educational and legal.
In the field of medicine, the main goal is to improve diagnostics and the decision-making process. AI71 will focus on increasing precision and reducing the time devoted to each patient. The educational and legal sectors will also gain value through the integration of AI and related innovations. These changes will open the door to new solutions conducive to social development.
Among the partners announced by AI71 are Hub71, World Wide Technology, PwC, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and CNTXT. This powerful coalition of partners will provide AI71 with solid support and diverse competencies, enabling dynamic development and delivery of innovative solutions on the global market.
