The Ministry of Digitization has announced the resumption of work of working groups on artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and modern technologies. A new action plan and the ecosystem of working groups, which aim to further support innovation, will be presented at the meeting scheduled for February 26. This is part of a broader initiative aimed at promoting and supporting the development of artificial intelligence in the country.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski also wants to establish a Artificial Intelligence Fund, which would contribute to the acceleration of AI development in Poland. At the end of January, the Ministry of Digitization also appointed an advisory team PL/AI Artificial Intelligence for Poland, which includes leading Polish programmers and entrepreneurs. Among them are Miron Mironiuk, founder and CEO of Cosmose AI; Kamila Staryga from Rita Health and Google X; Agnieszka Mikołajczyk-Bareła from CHAPTR and VoiceLab.AI; Marek Cygan, world champion in team programming from Nomagic; Tomasz Czajka from SpaceX and Karol Kurach from Cosmose AI and Google Brain.

This team will advise the ministry on issues related to the use of AI in various areas of public life, such as health, education or security, developing recommendations and strategies for using this technology. 

These initiatives underline Poland's commitment to the development of AI and its application to improve the quality of life of citizens and strengthen national security.
