Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Sora – a breakthrough tool for converting text into video from OpenAI

Sora is capable of generating complex scenes with multiple characters, specified types of movement, and precise details of the object and background. As indicated by OpenAI representatives, a deep understanding of natural language allows the model to accurately interpret prompts and generate characters that express vivid emotions. Sora can also create multiple shots within one generated video, which accurately reflect the characters and visual style. Sora is based on earlier research on DALL-E and GPT models. It uses the recaptioning technique from DALL-E 3, which involves generating highly descriptive captions for visual training data. As a result, this model is even better able to follow the user's text instructions in the generated film. Below is a sample of the capabilities of OpenAI's new tool.

Google presents Gemini 1.5. Will it be a breakthrough in the analysis of long content?

Gemini 1.5 is a new generation model that, as Google assures, provides radically increased performance and a breakthrough in understanding long context in various modalities. Greater capabilities in training the Gemini 1.5 model and using it were achieved by the company thanks to the new Mixture–of-Experts (MoE) architecture. The first Gemini 1.5 model to be made available for early testing is Gemini 1.5 Pro - a medium-sized multimodal model optimized for scaling a wide range of tasks and operating at a level similar to the 1.0 Ultra model. Gemini 1.5 Pro also includes an experimental feature of understanding long context.

Chat with RTX from NVIDIA. A private AI chatbot on your computer's drive

NVIDIA has presented a demo version of its new AI chatbot - Chat with RTX. The tool operates fully locally on personal computers with Windows system and allows users to create their own, personalized AI chatbots. Thanks to this, instead of manually searching through files and notes for specific information, users can simply ask the chatbot, which will scan the indicated documents in a few seconds and provide an answer along with the context. Chat with RTX supports various file formats: .txt, .pdf, .doc/.docx, or .xml, as well as YouTube videos or playlists.

Polish companies are leaders in AI implementations in the EU. 94% of them also recorded a profit increase

From a study conducted for Amazon Web Services, it appears that already every fourth Polish company (23%) has effectively implemented solutions based on artificial intelligence, and the technology itself opens up great opportunities for our country. Polish companies using AI also report positive benefits. 94% of them achieved revenue growth, 88% - indicated an improvement in innovation, and 81% - stated that artificial intelligence streamlines business processes. All these indicators are significantly higher than the European average (no more than 75% in each case).
